The Bicycle Film Festival is coming to Pittsburgh for the first time ever on July 2-4th and we’re having Black and Goldsprints at the July 2nd opening party. Hosted at Over the Bar Bicycle Cafeat 2518 E Carson St in the Southside part of town the racing will get going around 9pm, just after the first screening from the Film Festival wraps up. 42below is providing the vodka, Urban Velo is providing the racing. You provide the legs. No cover.
Race 3 of 3 of the sprint Iron City Bikes race team benefits is upon us, May 16th at 7pm at Over the Bar Bicycle Cafe in the Southside. Come one come all - $5, no roller skills required. Just hop on and race. Prizes for fastest time, tournament winners and more! Non-smoking venue with food and beer, what more could you ask for?
Friday April 17, Race 2 of 3 of the 2009 Iron City Bikes / Urban Velo Black and Goldsprints series to benefit the Iron City Bikes race team. This time at Gooski’s, 3117 Brereton in Polish Hill. Open qualifying from 7 - 9:00pm, bracketing racing for the night’s winner starts after everyone has had a chance to seed into the bracket. $5.
21+. Sorry kids, we promise to have all-ages friendly races later this year.
Latest word from Gooski’s: Due to popular demand, the back room where the racing will be held will be smoke-free for the evening.
